The 59th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 6, 2010. Millions will unite in prayer at thousands of events from coast to coast. The theme for this coming year is “Prayer for Such a Time as This” and is based on the verse from Nahum 1:7 which states: “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.” 
We encourage you to get involved on this very important day of prayer by either joining a prayer group or forming your own. There is an individual need for personal repentance and prayer; as well as interceding for America and its leadership in the seven centers of power: Government, Military, Media, Business, Education, Church and Family. The national observance represents a Judeo Christian expression and is based upon our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible. "Pray without ceasing." (1 Thess. 5:17)
